I report and analyse news covering the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors across Europe and the US for Labiotech. I hold a BSc in Biological Sciences, with a focus on human physiology and health, which laid a strong foundation for my career in science-focused journalism. I later pursued a Master’s in Print Journalism at the University of Sheffield, UK, where I gained experience working on various digital and print publications. During my time at Labiotech I have contributed to the publication’s coverage on a variety of pressing industry challenges that include regulatory compliance, high R&D costs, scaling production, and equitable access to advanced therapies globally. On a personal level, I have a deep interest in the advancing research on the microbiome and gut health, where I keep a close eye on how these scientific developments shape the future of health and wellbeing.
